25 | On 11/20/2025 at 10:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Oscar Picazo conducted an unannounced Annual/Random Inspection and met with Blanca Castillo. Upon arrival, LPA was granted entry and disclosed the purpose of the inspection. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure that the home follows standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, for Family Child Care Homes. There were three 3 daycare children present at the time of the inspection. Also present was licensee's assistant, Yudith Castillo. Licensee accompanied LPA throughout the inspection of this two (2) story 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home. The following areas are used for child care: the front yard, the living room, dinning area, kitchen, bedroom 4, bathroom 3, the north & south side yards and the backyard. Off Limit areas include: the , Master bedrooms 1 & 2, which includes bathrooms 1 & 2, bedroom 3 & 5, the detached In-law unit and a storage unit. These areas are made inaccessible with door locks and safety gates. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM and 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM.
There are no pools or bodies of water on the property and the home does not have a fireplace. The fire extinguisher is rated 3-A:40-B:C which meets statutory requirements and is mounted on a wall next to the backdoor. The smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested, are operational and met requirements. Poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and other hazardous items are stored in a locked cabinet and made inaccessible to children by way of cabinet latches/locks and/or placed on high surfaces. Licensee will utilize the fully fenced front yard for outdoor activities. Licensee stated she provides direct supervision at all times when children are conducting any outside activities.
Licensee has an ample amount of children's toys, age appropriate play equipment, books, and non-toxic child safe arts & crafts materials available.
