32 | LPA discussed with Licensee AB 1207- Mandated Child Abuse Reporting. Licensee is aware that all personnel that interact/provide care and supervision to children must have proof of training on site to review . The licensee does not have current mandated reporter certificates available for review for herself or her helpers. LPA also discussed the immunization law (SB792) was with Licensee. Licensee understands that anyone who provides care and supervision to the children must have immunization records maintained at the facility for: pertussis, measles, and influenza. The licensee does not have verification of the required immunization's for herself or helpers.
LPA reviewed the following with Licensee: Recently Approved Safe Sleep Regulations PIN 20-24-CCP dated 9/15/20, Updates to the California Department of Public Health Coronavirus Disease 2019 Guidance for Child Care Providers and Programs, PIN 22-28-CCP dated 10/25/22 and California Department of Public Health Covid-19 Guidance for Child Care Providers and Programs dated 10/21/22. Licensee is reminded that corporal punishment, smoking, walkers, exersaucers, jumpers and bouncy seats shall never be permitted during daycare operation. Licensee is aware that interference with a child’s daily functions, corporal punishment, physical and mental abuse is not allowed. Licensee is reminded to make anything that reads, "Keep Out of Reach of Children" inaccessible to children.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. The licensee states that a school age child brings an Epi-Pen with him to the facility. The licensee will submit an IMS Plan of Operation to LPA via email by 11/30/2022.
