Facility and converted garage were inspected by National City Fire Department on 09/14/2021 and Fire clearance was granted for capacity of 14 children. LPA met with Licensee, Bertha Salcedo, and was granted entry into the facility. Eight daycare children, ages (1, 2, 21/2, 3,4,4,4,4) and one child care assistant were also present in the facility at the time of the inspection.

Off limit areas are: Living room, dining room, kitchen, studio and entire upstairs. These areas are made inaccessible with the use of door knob covers, door locks and a safety gate. All poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, and medicines are inaccessible to children in care and are located in off limit areas. Children’s toys and play equipment are available. The applicant has a working telephone/cell phone. Licensee states there are no firearms or weapons in the home Backyard is fully fenced and free of hazards. Hours of Operation will be Monday- Friday 6:30 AM-5:30 PM.
