25 | On 04/09/2024 at 3:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst,(LPA) Dana Stevens met with Licensee, Maclovia Rivero, for the purpose of a Case Management - Legal Non-Compliance inspection. 12 daycare children were present with Licensee and assistant at the time of this inspection. The home was toured and inspected to ensure an environment safe for the care and supervision of children per the standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, for Family Child Care Homes. Licensee stated there are currently 17 children enrolled and LPA verified that licensee's LIC 9040 roster was complete and updated.
The fire extinguisher and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors meet requirements and are operational. All hazardous items were latched/locked and secured out of reach of children. A review of staff records on this date indicates that all adults or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse clearances or exemptions. Children’s records were reviewed and were found to be complete. Children's files contained signed Acknowledgement Of Receipt Of Licensing forms documenting parents' receipt of current compliance plan. Personnel records were reviewed and found complete. First Aid and CPR certifications for both Licensee and assistant expire on 06/2025. Licensees and assistants Mandated Reporter training were completed in 06/27/2023. Last fire drill completed in February 26, 2024.
No deficiencies cited
Licensee has successfully complied with the terms of the Stipulation and Waiver and Order and completed the required probationary period. Licensee's regular Large Family Child Care license is granted and restored in full effective this date.
