13 | On 08/05/2024 at 3:15pm, Licensing Program Analyst(s) Shannan Williams and Michelle Hood conducted an unannounced complaint visit to deliver findings on the above allegation. LPAs met with Licensee, Maria Miranda and informed her of the purpose of the visit. There were two children present at the time of the inspection. Today, LPA Williams interviewed two daycare children. During the investigation LPA Dana Stevens conducted one unannounced inspection of the facility, interviewed Licensee, daycare parents, and reviewed facility records. It was alleged that adult in the home smokes marijuana while the daycare children are present and uncleared adult on the premises. LPA verified all household members have fingerprint clearance and information obtained in child, parent and staff interviews did not provide evidence to support either allegation. A finding that the complaint is Unsubstainted means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred. The licensee was provided with a copy of their appeal rights (LIC 9058) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. This is an amended report.
