25 | On 09/16/2022 at 10:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Castellon conducted an announced pre-licensing/ change of location inspection with licensee Vianey Moran. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure that the home is in compliance with standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, for Family Child Care Homes. Licensee recently submitted a change of location application. This two story, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home was toured and inspected to ensure the environment is safe for the care and supervision of children. The SDCCRO received a copy of the San Diego Fire Department fire clearance report dated 8/30/22. Licensee's mother was also present.
The licensee provided proof of control of property for review by the Department. The licensee will use the following areas for child care: entire first floor. Licensee understands that Off-limits areas include: second floor Inaccessible areas will be made inaccessible to daycare children through the use of door locks, safety latches, gates, and fencing. There are no bodies of water located on the premises. Smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher meet requirements and are operational. All poisons, cleaners, and hazardous items in the home are inaccessible to children through latches, locks, and/or placed up on high surfaces.
Children’s toys and play equipment are available. Licensee states there are no firearms maintained in the home in the home. Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications are current. Licensee has provided proof of all required vaccinations.
Per applicants, operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Advised applicants no changes should be made to the home without prior notice and/or approval from Licensing.
