25 | On 06/16/2025 at 9:05 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michelle Hood conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection for a change of location with the applicant, Flovins Saintvil. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure that the home complies with standards established in CCR, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, for Family Child Care Homes. This 1-story 3-bedroom, 2-bath home was toured and inspected to ensure the environment is safe for the care and supervision of children. Per applicant the operating hours are: 6:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. During the inspection the applicants spouse and two minor children were present.
On 03/25/2025, a fire clearance was approved for 14 children. the applicant has provided proof of their control over the property for review by the Department. The following areas will be used for childcare: living room, dining room, and bathroom #2. The backyard, all 3 bedrooms, garage, kitchen, patio, carport and entire yard will remain off-limits to daycare children. The off-limit areas are made inaccessible through doorknob covers, and latches. The applicant plans to use a nearby park for outdoor activities. The applicant understands there must be direct supervision of the children is required at the park. During the inspection, no bodies of water were observed on the property. The applicant confirmed that there are no firearms or other weapons in the home. The fire extinguisher is rated 2A 10B:C, and both smoke and carbon monoxide detectors meet the required standards and are operational. All poisons, cleaners, and hazardous items in the home are kept inaccessible to children using latches, locks, or by being placed on high surfaces. Children’s toys and play equipment are available. LPA reviewed children files and the roster from previous location.
