13 | Regarding the allegation that an uncleared adult had access to the infants in care, specifically that a temporary employee walked into the facility without being asked for a form of identification. Interviews revealed that staff were aware that a temporary employee was coming into the facility to assist with coverage. When the staff arrived, staff were aware of the temporary employee and did not feel that identification was needed.
Regarding the allegation that staff operate out of ratio, specifically that when staff need a quick break there is not staff to cover putting the room out of ratio. During the visit on 9/17/24 LPA’s observed 2 staff to 8 infants. Based on record review staff rotate throughout the rooms to extend coverage to all staff so breaks can be taken. Interviews revealed that the facility is never out of ratio because of the rotated schedule.
From the information received by interviews and observation the above allegation cannot be verified. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations did or did not occur, therefore, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted with Licensee Deseree Armstead, a Notice of Site Visit posted, and a copy of this report was provided to the facility on this date and time
