13 | On 4/23/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering findings for complaint received on 2/22/24. The LPA met with the Principal, Natasha Clemens and toured the facility. There were 94 preschool children present and 20 staff at the facility.
Based on the information obtained from facility file reviews, parent and staff interviews, and medical documentation it could not be proven that staff do not take appropriate steps to prevent the spread of illness and that staff do not provide adequate food or water to the daycare children. Staff records showed that there are procedures and checklists in place that keep track of cleaning and sanitizing to keep the children from spreading germs and illnesses to each other. The facility only provides snacks and parents are notified though the school app if there are issues regarding feeding. The facility also provides water refills for the children in their own labeled water bottles. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is no corroborating evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred. The preponderance of the evidence has not been met and therefore, the above allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. The exit interview was conducted with the Principal, Natasha Clemens. Appeal Rights and a copy of the licensing report was provided. A notice of site visit was posted and must remain for 30 days.
