On 2/27/25 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando visited the facility to conduct an annual inspection. LPA met with Director Megan Eckert and toured the facility. The Director states that the school age program is in session during the summer. There are 12 children currently enrolled in the summer program. The program operates when the school district is closed or not in session. The program also operates a winter program.

LPA observed that furniture and age-appropriate equipment is in good condition indoors and outdoors. Children's toilets and hand washing facilities are sanitary. Rooms are safe and clean. Storage containers for solid waste are covered. Drinking water is readily accessible inside and outside the classroom. All disinfectants, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous items are inaccessible to children. The outdoor play area is fenced and has canopies used for shade. There are no bodies of water or weapons at this facility. The Director stated that menus are posted when the summer camp is in session.

To improve the quality and value of the new inspection process, a survey may be sent to the email address provided. Please complete the survey and share your inspection experience. If you have any questions regarding the process or CARE tools, please send email inquiries to inspectionprocess@dss.ca.gov.
