On 9/28/23 at 11:50am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Martha Malane arrived at the facility to conduct a case management inspection for the purpose of a capacity decrease. Upon arrival, LPA met with Assistant Director, Mikayla Guzman and was led on a tour the facility. There were 32 children and eight (8) staff members present. The facility is requesting a capacity decrease to 75 preschool children, ages 2-5 years and to remove room 102 from the preschool license. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 5:30pm.
Classrooms 104, 105, 106 and 107 were inspected and previously measured a total of 2694.79 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. Classrooms are equipped with age-appropriate furniture, including cots for napping, tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves and other materials for children. There are five (5) toilets and nine (9) sinks for children's use, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity.
The outdoor activity space was inspected and previously measured 5,980 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited.
A capacity decrease to 75 preschool children ages 2-5 years in rooms 104, 105, 106 and 107 is granted effective today’s date.
Exit interview conducted with Assistant Director, Mikayla Guzman. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 days from today's date. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
