On 03/20/2026 at 3:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dana Stevens conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver findings for the above allegations. LPA met with Director, Katie Stanglewitcz, and informed her of the reason for the visit. There were 20 children present, with 9 staff members.

During investigation, LPA conducted two unannounced complaint inspections, inspected facility inside and out, photographed play area, and interviewed Director, staff and daycare parents.

During interview, Director denied allegations and stated children are under constant supervision and the facility is cleaned and sanitized daily. During interviews, all staff interviewed stated that children are always well supervised, and staff are in ratio. All staff stated they believe the facility is safe and not unsanitary. Some staff noted that there can be dirty diaper smells after diaper changes as would be expected in an Infant Center, however diaper pails are changed out on a regular basis and there are no lingering smells.

During inspections, LPA observed appropriate staff/child ratios, and the facility was observed to be clean and sanitary, and without hazards in child care areas. Interviews with daycare parents did not provide any statements or evidence to support the allegations and all parents expressed satisfaction with the care provided at the Infant Center.

Based on information obtained during inspections and interviews, the above allegations are found Unsubstantiated. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur.
