In addition, it was alleged that staff yelled at a child in care. Facility Representative and staff members denied the allegation. Facility Representative and staff members acknowledged that they all have different voice tones and sometimes their voices are loud and stern, however they never yell or use inappropriate tones with daycare children. There were no disclosures from daycare children interviewed, including daycare children in question that they were yelled at by staff in question or any staff members.
Based on interviews conducted, there were no disclosures that collaborated that staff hit children in care and staff yelled at a child in care. Due to conflicting interview statements, the allegations are found to be unsubstantiated. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.
No deficiencies cited. A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given to Facility Representative, Cynthia Quintana, and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) were provided. An exit interview conducted, and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, Cynthia Quintana. |
