On 5/20/2024, at approximately 3:15PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jonathan Tse conducted an unannounced case management visit at the facility regarding the measurement of Rooms 115 and 116. LPA met with Director, Christophe de Renty. LPA explained the purpose of the visit. Present during the visit was D1, six staff members, and 53 preschool age children.

LPA had previously conducted measurements of Room 115 and 116 during an annual visit on 3/29/2024. Room 115 measured at 482.3 sq. ft., which allows for 13 total children to be present at a time. Room 116 measured at 553.6 sq. ft., which allows for 15 children to be present at a time. LPA was contacted by S1 and S2 regarding the measurement of Room 115.

CCR 101238.3(a) There shall be at least 35 square feet of indoor activity space per child based on the total licensed capacity.

During today's visit, LPA remeasured Room 115 and found that the total square footage of the room is 555.2 sq. ft. The encumbered space of the room totals 69.7 sq. ft. The total allowable square footage of the room is 485.5 sq. ft., which allows for a total of 13 children to be present at a time.

LPA remeasured Room 116 and found that the total square footage of the room is 627.9 sq. ft. The encumbered space of the room totals 74.8 sq. ft. The total allowable square footage of the room is 553.1 sq. ft., which allows for a total of 15 children to be present at a time.

There is no change in the allowable capacity that was measured on 3/29/2024. The requested increase of capacity shall be from 96 children to 124 children. The facility's requested capacity increase shall be approved, pending fire clearance.
No deficiencies were cited during today's visit on 5/20/2024. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. A copy of the report was printed and provided. Exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with Director, Christophe de Renty.
