25 | On February 14, 2025 at approximately 8:45am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ly conducted an Unannounced Annual Visit to this family child care home and met with Licensee Mikhail Giberman. Purpose of visit was explained. Present during the visit were Licensee and an Assistant caring for 6 preschool age children. All required posting documents are posted and visible.
Day Care Areas are the ground level, including the living room, dining room, bedroom, bathroom and the backyard. Off Limit Areas the entire second floor, the garden in the backyard. Licensee's Pediatric/First Aid Certification is valid until 10/2025. Licensee and Assistant have Completed Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training Certification is on file. Required Immunization such as Influenza, Pertussis and Measles are on file.
LPA observed the home is clean orderly and properly ventilated. LPA also observed a 2A10BC Fire extinguisher, operable smoke detectors and carbon monoxide. There are no Fireplace or bodies of water in the home. Electrical outlets have child protective covers in place making them inaccessible to children. Chemical, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other items of this nature are made inaccessible to children. Kitchen/Bathroom cabinets/drawers have child protective locks in place making all sharp objects or toxic house hold items inaccessible to children. First aid supplies are available for children. Home has age appropriate toys and equipment available for the children in care.
LPA also observed outdoor play area is clean and orderly. LPA observed outdoor equipment is in good condition, free from loose, sharp or pointed parts. Facility conducts fire drills/earthquake drills on 12/10/2024 and was properly logged.
During today's visit, LPA reviewed children's files. Children's files are found to have emergency contact information, required licensing forms and immunization record. On this day, LPA also review Licensee's and Assistant's files. Licensee and Assistant's files are complete with proof of training, required licensing forms immunization record.
