25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mok conducted an unannounced case management today. LPA met with licensee, DanTong Chen and her mother who worked ad a helper. The licensee applied for a Large FAmily Child Care Home on 8/8/2023. The licensee wanted to use the in-law with a living room, a bathroom, a bedroom #1 # #2 and a backyard on the lower level. The in-law was inspected by the SF Fire Marshal and approved it. The fire clearance approval was received by CCL on 8/24/2023. LPA inspected the in-law for health and safety hazards. The facility's entrance will be the side door next to the garage door. The entrance of the main daycare area is in the back of the hallway. There was a food preparation in the living room. The lower food preparation cabinets were latched. There was refrigerator, & cubbies in the living room. All the electrical outlets and corners were covered. The children's bathroom was clean and in order. The lower bathroom sink cabinet was latched. There were some of the age-appropriate toys, books, learning materials and children's furniture in good condition. The licensee had more age-appropriate toys, books, and learning material on the upper level. The licensee will move all the toys, and equipment from the upper level to the lower level for the approval. The in-law had 2 in 1 smoke and carbon monoxide available now.
The following the items have to be complete before licensure:

- Decals have to be put on the sliding door.
