On July 5, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) April Cowan conducts an unannounced case management inspection for the room addition as well as the addition of a Toddler component to the license today. LPA meets with the Co-Owner Zhen Zhen Li for this inspection. The purpose of the inspection is explained. There are no children present due to facility being closed for cleaning this day. The case management inspection is due to an application that was submitted by the licensee on March 3, 2022. Capacity will remain at 39.
LPA inspected the area for health and safety hazards today. The center is clean, orderly and in good repair. There are no pools, spas or other similar bodies of water on site. Per Co-Owner, there are no firearms or weapons on site. Cleaning supplies and other potentially harmful items are stored inaccessible to the children. All furniture and equipment are clean and in good working condition. The center's furniture and equipment are age appropriate. There is a sufficient quantity of cots, table/chairs and changing tables meet the capacity. Changing tables are within an arm’s reach of a sink. The center has a working carbon monoxide detector. And fully charged fire extinguisher. All solid waste storage containers have secure lids. The outdoor play area designated for the infants and toddlers was clean and in good repair. All toys and equipment are in working condition. Areas under outdoor play structures have turf.

LPA measures the added room. The measurement of the new area is 623.49 square feet allowing for 17 children. Licensee will house 12 children in this space for toddlers. The facility has applied for an outdoor waiver to use the playground by schedule. The outdoor waiver will be granted.

The following item has to be completed prior licensure:

· Fire Clearance approval must be received by CCL.
