13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Yee and Tso conducted a visit to close this complaint investigation. Upon arrival, LPAs met with two staff members and the purpose of the visit was explained. The facility representative, Mei Li arrived within 5 mins. The owner, Tiffany arrived at 11:30am. Present at the facility were 42 children and 8 staff members.
During the course of the investigation, LPAs interviewed the related parties and staff members, conducted facility observations, and obtained a current children's roster.
On July 22, 2025, during a prior inspection, LPA observed soy milk stored in the refrigerator that had expired. The facility owner stated that the expired soy milk was brought in by a child’s parent and the facility does not serve expired products. During today's inspection, LPAs interviewed the staff members regarding the children's personal rights policy.
Based on the information obtained this complaint finding is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
