25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yee conducted an unannounced Annual Inspection and met with Licensee, YueYun Dare. The purpose of the inspection was explained. Present at the facility are Licensee, YueYun one helper, and 6 children (3 infants). Current residents are YueYun and her 14 year old son. Facility was inspected with the licensee. Daycare areas are: living room, bathroom, and backyard. The remaining areas are off-limits. The days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
LPA observed the following: Day-care area is clean, orderly, and equipped with age appropriate toys and equipment for the children. Home has sufficient lighting and ventilation. Home has a working telephone, a working smoke and carbon monoxide detector, and a fully charged fire extinguisher. There are no bodies of water on the property. There are no poisons, detergents, or cleaning products accessible to day-care children. Licensee states there are no guns or weapons of any kind in the home. Licensee’s CPR expires in 02-04-25. Licensee conducted last emergency drill on 8/25/22 and a log sheet was not available for a review. LPA advised the licensee to keep a log sheet and emergency drill needs to be conducted every six months. Licensee provides daily snacks and lunches.
LPA reviewed facility files. Children's files are complete with all required Licensing documents. Licensee has all required postings posted for parents to review.
*Licensee was reminded about having all Staff and Volunteers provide proof of immunization against influenza, pertussis, and measles or qualifies for an exemption.
*Licensee was reminded about the Provider Information Notices (PINs) on CCLD website.
*Licensee was reminded about Mandated Reporter Training available on CCLD website (www.ccld.ca.gov or www.mandatedreporterca.com)
*Licensee was given information regarding ‘Safe Sleep’ practices.
