25 | On December 9th, 2024, at approximately 1:35 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Janet Gil conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. LPA met with licensee, Fang Fang Xu, and explained the purpose of the inspection. Present during LPA’s visit included licensee, assistant and 12 children (12 preschoolers). The licensee is a large license and is operating within capacity limits and ratio.
Licensee rents the home consisting of a living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms(one master bedroom), 1.5 bathrooms, a Laundry Room, and a kitchen. Licensee lives in home. All adults living and working in the home have fingerprint clearance. Facility operates Monday Through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Day Care Areas: Living room, 1.5 Bathrooms, Dining Room and Bedroom #2.
Off Limit Areas: Laundry Room, Master Bedroom, and Kitchen. All off-limit areas are appropriately barricaded.
LPA toured day care areas of home with licensee. LPA observed the home to be in repair with proper temperature and ventilation. Home is equipped with a variety of toys and materials that were observed to be in working condition. LPA observed a properly barricaded fireplace and open face heater made inaccessible to children in care. LPA observed a fully stocked accessible first aid kit located in the living room area. LPA did not observe any accessible cleaning supplies, poisons, and solutions in day care areas. LPA observed electrical outlets to be made inaccessible with outlet covers. Home is equipped with a fully charged fire extinguisher located in the kitchen and multiple smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. LPA did not test carbon monoxide detector due to children in care sleeping. Licensee does not have any children in care with allergies or IMS plans. Per licensee, lunch is provided by parents or authorized representatives of the children in care.
At approximately 1:50 PM, LPA observed bathroom for children's use was in proper working condition. LPA observed bathroom to include appropriate toileting equipment and sanitation products. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials to be accessible to children in the bathroom.
