Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Janie Davis and Lauren Scott met with the Director, Dawn Briggs to deliver findings for the above allegations. LPAs toured the facility and observed 29 kids in care.
It was alleged the facility was violating the Personal Rights of Children, ratios were not being maintained, there were potential physical plant concerns, and children being hurt due to lack of supervision. During the course of the information, LPA made observations and conducting interviews with staff and parents.
Based on the conflicting information obtained throughout the course of this investigation, the above allegations could not be substantiated or dismissed. Although the allegations may have happened (or are valid), there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the findings are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
No Title 22 deficiencies were cited at time of visit. An exit interview was conducted in which the report was reviewed and discussed with Director Dawn Briggs. Appeal rights were discussed, and a printed version was given to director. Notice of Site was posted and must remain posted for 30 days.
