25 | On August 21, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stacey Williams met with Licensee, Teresa Rosas for an unannounced 1 Year Required inspection. There were six children present in the home during the inspection. All individuals subject to criminal record review have obtained clearance. Licensee’s childcare operation hours are Mon-Wed 7:00AM-5:00PM, with no overnight care.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPA toured areas of the home accessible to the children. The off-limit areas of home are: entire upstairs, side yard, and garage. The backyard is fenced and Licensee acknowledges that children may never be left unsupervised in an unfenced area of the yard. There are no bodies of water on the property.
LPA observed the required licensing postings.
LPA conducted file reviews during today’s inspection. Licensee and her Assistant’s file was reviewed. LPA observed current CPR/First Aid certification for Licensee and her Assistant. Licensee’s expiration date is: 1/2025. LPA observed current completion of AB1207 Mandated Reporter training for Licensee and her Assistant. LPA provided Licensee with website: http://childcare.mandatedreporterca.com/ and reminded the licensee that the training must be completed once every two years. LPA observed records of immunizations. LPA reviewed the client roster. |
