25 | Application Specialist (AS) Alecia Sifuentes and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christopher Jackson met with Applicant, Linda Craig for the purpose of an announced pre-licensing inspection. Applicant requests a preschool license to serve 24 preschool children from age three to entry into kindergarten and 8 toddlers age 18 to 36 months under a Toddler Option Program. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The fire clearance was granted and received on 11/18/2021.
Applicant acknowledges that the following documents must be posted at all times: License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Personal Rights, Parents' Rights Poster, car seat poster, menus, and daily schedule. AS discussed the forms that must be in each child's and each staff member's file. AS discussed LIC311A, Effects of Lead Exposure brochure, and new immunization card. The facility will provide breakfast, lunch, and snack.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There is one preschool classroom and one toddler classroom. AS observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. The first aid kit is located in each classroom and medication is stored in the office. AS observed cleaning disinfectants are appropriately stored and inaccessible to children. Applicant stated there are no poisons or firearms on the premises. AS observed water cooler in the classrooms. AS observed a functional dual smoke and carbon monoxide detector in each classroom. AS observed a sign-in/sign-out binder.
