13 | On 7/11/25, at 9:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Matthew Sapien conducted an unannounced inspection to the abovementioned Child Care Center (CCC) in order to investigate the above allegations. LPA met with Catherine Evenson, Director of the CCC, and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. LPA, in the company of Director, toured the interior and exterior of the CCC. During the inspection, LPA notes 18 children present, along with 3 teachers, and 1 aide (cleared and associated).
LPA interviewed the Director and inquired if they had any knowledge on why a complaint may have been filed. The Director stated that they became aware of a miscommunication between staff regarding a child’s pick up and acknowledged a corresponding incident.
The investigation included interviewing the Complainant, and the Director on 7/11/25. Pertinent documents were also reviewed by the LPA such as the review of child sign in/sign out sheets, staff (CONT LIC 9099-C, Page 2)
