25 | On 9/11/25, at 9:40 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Matthew Sapien conducted an unannounced annual random inspection visit of the abovementioned Family Child Care Home (FCCH). LPA met with Kimberly Loudat, Licensee of the FCCH, and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. The LPA, in the company of Licensee, toured the FCCH in its entirety. The home is a 5 bedroom and 4 bathroom split level home (three stories). The areas that are accessible for day care children are as follows: family room, living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and backyard. The remainder of the home is excluded from childcare services. Inaccessible rooms and areas are made secure by child safety gates. Importantly to note, the first story of the home is off limits and is made inaccessible via a child safety gate. At the time of the inspection, LPA observed no day care children present. In addition to the Licensee, LPA observed the Licensee's spouse at the time of the inspection (cleared and associated).
LPA observed the FCCH to be clean and orderly. The bathroom, utilized for childcare, is clean and free of toxins. LPA observed bathroom cabinets to contain no hazardous items. LPA observed personal medications in a downstairs cabinet that was locked. No children currently require medication. Primary cleaning solutions are stored in an outdoor sea train in the front yard. Sharps are stored on top of the refrigerator, an area out of reach of children in care.
LPA observed age-appropriate toys, furnishings, and equipment throughout the living room and family room. LPA observed one fireplace in the living room. LPA observed a metal screen covering the fireplace with locks added for extra security. Licensee informed LPA that there are a number of pets like dogs, chickens, and cats present on site. Licensee informed LPA that the pets are vaccinated and have interactions with children in care. LPA observed a First Aid Kit in the residence for the day care.
LPA observed relevant licensing forms and documents posted prominently near the doorway of the residence. (CONT. 809-C, Page 2)
