On june 16, 2022 at 10:30 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Francisco Pedroza and Susana Martinez conducted an unannounced inspection to conclude a complaint investigation. LPAs met with Licensee Samantha Lomeli and advised her the purpose of the inspection. Licensee provided LPAs a tour of the facility inside and out. There was six (6) children in care and one (1) assistant at the time of the inspection.

Complaint received alleged “daycare child was sexually abused while in care”. The investigation was conducted by CCLD Investigation Bureau and Paso Robles Police Department (PRPD). On April 26, 2022 Community Care Licensing (CCL) received a complaint regarding the allegation(s). LPA and Investigator conducted an unannounced inspection on April 27, 2022. During the inspection, a tour of the home, record reviews and licensee interview was conducted. LPA and Investigator confirmed the alleged individual in the complaint did not currently reside in the home.

During the course of the investigation CCL Investigator collaborated with Paso Robles Police Department. Interviews were conducted with parents, licensee, residents, day care child, and medical professional(s). Based on LPAs observations, CCLD Investigation Bureau, and Paso Robles Police Department, no evidence was obtained during the investigation to collaborate with the allegation(s).

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

No deficiencies are being cited.
