On 12/10/25, at 1:10 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Matthew Sapien and Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced inspection to the abovementioned Child Care Center (CCC) in regards to the abovementioned allegations. LPAs met with Angelina Marziello, Co-Director of the CCC, and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. LPAs, in the company of the Co-Director, toured the CCC in its entirety. At the time of the inspection, LPAs note 33 children present, along with two additional staff members (teachers; cleared and associated).

The investigation included interviewing the Co-Director on 11/19/25, as well as interviewing a number of staff assistants and children in care. A sampling of parents of children in care were also interviewed. Pertinent documents were also reviewed by the LPAs. As noted, the complaint alleges the CCC were not providing adequate supervision and that staff did not notify a parent about a child getting injured by another child (CONT. 9099-C, Page 2)

Interviews with the Co-Director, additional staff, children, and parents of children in care did not corroborate these allegations.

Although the allegations may have been with merit, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore, the allegations listed above are deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED.

An exit interview was conducted with Facility Representative, Angelina Marziello. Facility Representative was provided with Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) and a Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213). Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days or a civil penalty of $100 may apply.
