25 | On 6/16/25, at 9:45 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Matthew Sapien conducted an unannounced annual random inspection and a capacity increase visit of the abovementioned Family Child Care Home (FCCH). LPA met with Stacie Hildebrand, Licensee of the FCCH, and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. The Licensee is requesting a capacity increase from 8 children (small license) to 14 children (large license). The LPA, in the company of Licensee, toured the interior and exterior of the FCCH. The areas that are accessible for day care children are as follows: detached backyard studio (main classroom), bathroom (in main class room), a day room in the main house (nap room), a connected bathroom in the day room, and the entirety of the backyard. The remainder of the home is excluded from childcare services. At the time of the inspection, LPA observed five day care children present, with one of whom being an infant. LPA also observed one staff assistant (cleared and associated).
LPA observed the FCCH to be clean and orderly. The bathrooms utilized for childcare are clean and free of toxins. Again, importantly to note, one bathroom is within the detached main classroom and the other is within the day room. LPA observed cleaning solutions within a locked cabinet in the main classroom's bathroom and in elevated shelf above a washer and dryer in the day room. In the main classroom, sharps are stored in an elevated position on top of the refrigerator. No children currently require medication. LPA also observed a First Aid Kit in the main classroom of the day care.
LPA observed age-appropriate toys, furnishings, and equipment throughout the main classroom and day room. Within the accessible areas to children in the household, LPA did not observe any fireplaces. Licensee informed LPA that two larger dogs are present on site. The dogs don't have interactions with children in care, however, Licensee attested that their vaccinations are up to date.
LPA observed relevant licensing forms and documents posted prominently at the entryway of main classroom. LPA observed a smoke and carbon monoxide detector within the classroom. (CONT. 809-C, Page 2)
