25 | On May 23rd, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Rosie Breault conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection at the above-mentioned facility to ensure that health, safety, and personal rights as required by Title 22 and Health and Safety Regulations governing California Childcare Centers will be met. At the time of the inspection, 52 children were present. This an application for a change of ownership of facility #401712191. Applicant is requesting 75 preschoolers aged 2 years – 6 years. The facility will operate Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
LPA met with applicant Angelica Ruiz and together toured and measured the on-limits areas and classrooms located at the facility. Preschoolers utilize 3 rooms designated as #1, #2, #3. Facility maintains a total of 9 sinks and 5 toilets which were in order at the time of the inspection.
LPA observed regulation postings placed in a prominent location, and facility utilizes “BrightWheel” app for purposes of signing in and out. Facility is equipped with a room to isolate and care for any child who becomes ill during the day, with space for cot/mat, separate toilet, and sink, affords easy supervision, and not located in or near food or general toilet area. Facility provides snacks for children, parents / authorized representatives provide lunch. LPA observed kitchen to be clean, working order and free of pests.
Preschool classrooms contain a variety of activities for children, comfortable temperature, ample ventilation, and sufficient number of cots for the requested number of children. LPA reminded applicant facility shall remain clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees, and visitors. LPA observed disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children stored elevated in cabinets. LPA observed waste receptacles with tight fitting lids, first aid kits readily accessible, fire extinguisher last serviced on 05/09/2025, and carbon monoxide tested and functioning at the time of the inspection. Per applicant, no firearms or ammunition are present on property.
