25 | On June 4th, 2025, at approximately 11am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced random/annual inspection and met with licensee, Stephanie Ward. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection to licensee. Present in the facility are licensee and assistant supervising 8 children (1 infant and 7 preschoolers). During today's inspection, all adults living and/or working in the facility are fingerprint cleared and associated. LPA verified Guardian list with licensee.
Licensee owns single story house and lives in the home with daughter. The hours of operation are: M-F, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Daycare areas: Living Room, Dining Room, Bathroom, Backyard, Bedroom 3 (Infants Napping), and Kitchen (Pass through only). Off Limit areas: Bedrooms 1 & 2, Bathroom 2, Family Room (Pass through only), Storage rooms, and Garage. LPA observed that off limit areas were properly barricaded and made inaccessible to the children in care.
LPA and Licensee inspected the entire child care area for Health and Safety hazards. LPA observed the Day-care is clean, orderly with a variety of age-appropriate toys for the children. All furniture inspected is in good repair. The licensee has a fully stocked First Aid kit and was reminded to be aware of the expiration on the First Aid Kit. Home does not have any pools or bodies of water. Per licensee, there are no pets in the home. LPA reminded licensee about water safety. The home does have a fireplace that is properly barricaded. The home has age-appropriate equipment available for children in care. Licensee was reminded that baby walkers, bouncers, jumpers, and any other similar items are to not be used for children in care. Per licensee, infant children sleep in pack and plays in the bedroom.
