13 | On March 7, 2024, at approximately 1:55pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Maria Olguin-Leon conducted an unannounced visit to deliver complaint finding for the above allegation. LPA met with the Associate Director, Lauren Ngoi and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during today’s visit were Associated Director, 26 staff and 119 preschool age children. Facility is operating within capacity
During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews with staff, children and random parents and reviewed pertinent reports provided by parties involved. Based on evidence obtained, it was determined that the allegation, Facility staff hit day care children, is determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. Although the above allegation may have happened or is valid, based on LPA’s interview and record review which were conducted, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Associate Director, Lauren Ngoi. Appeal Rights were provided.
