25 | On June 9th, 2022 at 9:25am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced required annual inspection. Purpose of the inspection was explained. LPA met with licensee, Rosalind Bradford. Present in the facility is licensee caring for 1 school age child. All adults living and working in the home have fingerprint clearance and associated to the facility.
Licensee owns home, which is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, single story house. The hours of operation are Monday- Saturday from 6am-6pm. Daycare areas are: Living Room, Playroom/converted Garage, Bathroom #1, portion of the Backyard, and Front yard. Off Limit areas are: Kitchen, Bedrooms #1, #2, and #3, and portion of the Backyard. All off limit areas are properly barricaded.
LPA toured day care areas of home with Licensee to inspect for health and safety hazards. LPA observed home to be clean and in good repair with proper temperature and ventilation. There were a variety of age appropriate toys and equipment in the home which were in good condition. Home has a fireplace that are properly barricaded. Licensee has a pet with up to date documentation. There are no pools, and bodies of water in the premises. All cleaning supplies, poisons and other chemicals were stored inaccessible to children. Discipline Policy was discussed.
There was a fully charged fire extinguisher, smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm, and a working telephone on site. Phone number listed for Licensee is current. Per Licensee, there are no weapons or firearms in the home. LPA reviewed one child record. LPA also reviewed facility records. Licensees CPR & First Aid Certificate will expire 09/2023. Licensee will renew her mandated reporter training. Emergency drills must be conducted at least once every six months and should be properly logged.
