25 | ***** THIS IS AN AMENDED REPORT FROM ORIGINAL DATED 10/08/2024 *****
On October 8th, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Medrano and Alvarado conducted a case management inspection and met with Director, Jacqueline "Jackie" Galdamez. LPAs explained the purpose of today’s inspection. LPAs toured the facility and inspected for health and safety hazards.
During the inspection it was found that multiple cleaning products were left in reach of children in the preschool areas. The items were immediately moved and made to be out of reach of children. As well as in outdoor areas hazardous materials were found, at the time of inspection there were no children present and director stated that children have not been present in the area the day that it was inspected. At approximately, 10:15am LPAs observed the "TK" program heading to upper classrooms. Per director, the TK children are children that are all enrolled in the Building Kidz program. Based on review of documents on file, the facility does not have fire clearance for the spaces in the upstairs area.
This report and appeal rights were provided and exit interview was conducted with the Site Director, Jacqueline. Notice of Site Visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
