25 | On December 12th, 2025, at approximately 9:25am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced random annual inspection and met with licensee, Pranita Venkatesh. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection to licensee. Present in the facility are licensee and two assistants supervising 10 preschool age children. During today's inspection, all adults living and/or working in the facility are fingerprint cleared and associated. LPA verified Guardian list with licensee.
Licensee owns homes in the multi-level home with their spouse and 2 minor children. Hours of operation are Monday- Friday from 8:30am-1pm. Daycare areas are: Downstairs that consists of two separate day care rooms and bathroom, Lower back (left) outdoor area. OFF limit areas: Entire Upstairs, Downstairs office room, Garage, Laundry Room, Entire gated right side of the backyard area. All off limit areas, including all closets, are properly barricaded.
LPA observed the Day-care is clean, orderly with a variety of age-appropriate toys for the children. All furniture inspected is in good repair. The licensee has a fully stocked First Aid kit and was reminded to be aware of the expiration of the First Aid Kit. Home has a pool and hot tub in the gated portion of backyard. LPA observed pool to have a fence that is 5 feet high with a pool cover. LPA observed there was a life ring to be of 23 inches and fixed 12 feet Pool hook. Per licensee, there is a pet in the home in an off limit area. LPA reminded licensee about water safety. The home does have a fireplace that is located in off limit areas.
The home has age-appropriate equipment available for children in care. Licensee was reminded that baby walkers, bouncers, jumpers, and any other similar items are not to be used for children in care. Per licensee, no children nap in her facility due to being a half day program. LPA and licensee discussed the discipline policy. Per licensee, she communicates and redirects the children.
