Preschool program's restroom is located in the preschool classroom. Restroom for children's use was observed to be in working condition. LPA observed appropriate toileting equipment in children's restroom.
Children sleep on cots, in preschool classroom. LPA observed children's cots to be labeled with children's names. Sheets and blankets are provided by the school district. Per site supervisor, sheets and blankets are sent home to be laundered weekly or as needed. Cots are also sanitized weekly or as needed. LPA observed children's individual blankets to be stored in individual bags when not in use, to avoid touching other sheets. LPA observed individual bags to be labeled with children's names.
Children eat in the preschool classroom. Food service is provided by the school district. LPA observed food menu to be posted, available for review. LPA also observed a garbage bin with a tight fitting lid. Per site supervisor, garbage is disposed of daily by school district janitorial services.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication

Outdoor area is fully enclosed and fenced. Outdoor area is shared with other school district programs on site. LPA observed shared outdoor waiver posted in preschool classroom, available for review. There is a play structure in the outdoor area with resilient padding underneath. Outdoor area includes a variety of outdoor toys and materials that are in good condition. There are storage sheds in the outdoor area that are locked and made inaccessible to children. Per site supervisor, storage sheds store outdoor toys and materials. LPA did not observe any pools, spas or bodies of water on site.
Drinking water is made available both indoors and outdoors with children's individual water bottles that can be refilled in classroom through a water fountain or sink.
Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care
Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test.
LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives
outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP.
