25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Marie Rodriguez conducted a scheduled case management visit to inspect the facility prior to the reopening of the school and classes resuming tomorrow, April 18, 2023. LPA met with Director Meagan Vincent. School temporarily relocated to the main campus at 2101 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo, CA 94403, license #410517519, while repairs were made to the flooring due to minor flooding caused by a leak in the storage room back in January 2023. Present at the school were the Director and teaching staff only who were unpacking and moving furniture and equipment back into the classrooms.
LPA toured the school with the Director. LPA inspected classrooms 1, 2, and 3 and the parish hall for health and safety hazards. Classroom walls had been inspected and repaired and new flooring was installed in the classrooms. Configuration of each classroom remains the same. Classrooms are located on the first floor of the building. Classrooms are in good condition with proper temperature and ventilation and are free of any hazards. Furniture in each classroom are in good repair. Each classroom has age appropriate toys and equipment. Napping equipment is in good condition and properly stored above the cubbies outside of the classrooms. Bathroom has three toilets and three sinks and appears to be clean, in good repair, and free of any hazards. There is a separate bathroom for staff usage on the premises.
The parish hall is a multi-purpose room on the second floor of the building and is used only as an activity space for music, motor gross classes, gathered assemblies, and during rainy days. Parish hall is in good condition with proper temperature and ventilation and is free of any hazards. Tables and chairs are removed when the room is used by children.
LPA will approve the reopening of the facility and will remove its inactive status as of today, April 17, 2023.
No deficiencies cited today under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Meagan Vincent. |
