On 3/19/2025 at approximately 9:30am, LPAs Badger and Tapia- Mandujano conducted an unannounced annual visit and met with the Director, Haydet Giulianetti. LPA explained the purpose of the visit to the director.

The facility is located on Notre Dame Elementary School campus. Facility operates according to the School year with periodic breaks/holidays throughout the year. Facility operates day care from Monday - Friday 8am-6pm. Facility operates in two rooms: Preschool room and TK room.

30 Preschool children were present today, with 3 teachers and 1 Director also present during the visit.Twenty preschool-age children were inside the class room and 10 children were having outside play when we arrived.

The three teachers and Director, have all received criminal record clearance from the California Department of Social Services. The facility is within its capacity limits and ratios for today’s visit. LPA observed that all required documents, such as the facility license, notification of parents’ rights personal rights, car seat laws, emergency disaster plan, and daily activities schedule, were displayed and visible to the public.

The most recent emergency disaster drill was conducted on 1/15/2025, and the LPA observed that it was documented. LPA reviewed the emergency disaster drill log and found that it was conducted at least once every six months. LPA reminded the director to complete and properly record them every six months.

LPA inspected the indoor and outdoor areas to identify health and safety hazards. The facility was clean, safe, sanitary, and in good repair. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons, and other items that could pose a danger were stored in areas inaccessible to the children. All accessible cabinets and drawers in the classrooms were found to be free of hazardous materials or poisons.

LPA reviewed 4 staff files, including the director , and confirmed that all required forms were present. LPA found two staff members were current with their Pediatric First Aid/CPR certifications. The facility must only have one certified Pediatric First Aid/CPR staff member. LPA found that two staff members completed twelve units in Early Childhood Education (ECE), which means they are qualified to be teachers. LPA reminded the Director to have that staff member complete the AB 1207 training, which is the correct version of the Mandated Reporter Training.

Director is aware that all staff is required to complete Mandated Reporter Training every two years. The training can be obtained online at www.mandatedreporterca.com. LPA observed the completion certificate on file. LPA encourages the director to frequently visit our website at www.ccld.ca.gov for licensing regulations and new updates.
