13 | On March 18th, 2024 at approximately 9:45am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced 10- day complaint inspection in response to the above allegation. LPA met with Director, Beatrice Balfour and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during inspection was Director and five other staff caring for a total of 24 preschool age children. All staff present have fingerprint clearance and are associated.
During today’s visit, LPA conducted a health and safety inspection and interviewed two additional staff.
During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted file review, interviews with staff, and received pertinent documentation. LPA determined that based on the information obtained there is not sufficient evidence to prove that unqualified staff providing care to day care children.
Although the allegation above may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore, the above allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Upon receipt of this report, Licensee shall post the Notice of Site Visit. The report and the Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain postings as required, will result in an immediate $100 civil penalty. This report is public and can be reviewed.
After today’s visit, an exit interview was conducted, report was reviewed and copy was provided to Director, Beatrice Balfour. |
