13 | On June 7th, 2024 at approximately 8:20am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted an unannounced 10- day complaint inspection in response to the above allegations. LPA met with Director, Beatrice Balfour and explained the purpose of the visit. Complaint Report was received 03/12/24.
Last day of Preschool program was 6/6/24. During today's inspection there are no children present. Present during the inspection are Director and 2 staff. All staff present during today's inspection are fingerprint cleared and associated. During today’s visit, LPA conducted a health and safety inspection, and received pertinent documentation from Director.
During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, and received pertinent documentation. LPA determined that based on the information obtained there is not sufficient evidence to prove that Staff had an inappropriate interaction with daycare child, Staff do not prevent daycare child from hitting other children in care, and/or Staff pushed daycare child.
Although the allegation above may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore, the above allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Upon receipt of this report, Licensee shall post the Notice of Site Visit. The report and the Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain postings as required, will result in an immediate $100 civil penalty. This report is public and can be reviewed.
After today’s visit, an exit interview was conducted, report was reviewed and copy was provided to Director, Beatrice Balfour. |
