There are stairs in the Breakfast Room that lead to the lower level. The door to the stairs is secured with a childproof cover on the doorknob. The lower level consists of Bedroom #4, Bathroom #3, the Garage, Storage Areas #1 and #2, and the Backyard. The Backyard is not fully furnished with cushioning and age-appropriate toys/equipment. Per Applicant, she does not intend to use the Backyard until it is complete. The entire lower level will remain as off-limits until sufficient cushioning (artificial turf) and gates are installed in the Backyard.
Applicant plans to operate from 8:30AM to 5:30PM. Applicant intends to enroll children from the ages of 0 to 5. Applicant will prepare breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack for children in care. Sheets will be provided, and children will bring blankets from home for napping. Blankets and sheets will be washed once a week.
Applicant’s First Aid/CPR is current and expires 11/2025. Applicant’s Mandated Reporter Training is current and expires 1/2026.
Applicant was reminded that all adults 18 and over living in the home, persons who provide care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
