On February 21, 2024 at 3:55 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Martina Jimenez conducted an unannounced inspection to deliver findings of the complaint investigation on the above mentioned allegations. LPA met with Adriana Rodriguez, Site Director, and discussed the purpose of the inspection. LPA observed 6 children in care at the time of the inspection, with 4 staff present.

The investigation included LPAs observation, two (2) site inspections, interviews with parents, staff, document reviews and interviews with the Site Director.

Interviews conducted with Site Supervisor, staff, parents, document obtained and LPAs' observations did not corroborate the allegations of staff did not prevent day-care children from injuring other children in care and
staff did not prevent day-care child from pulling another child's hair.

Parent interviewed, stated they are happy with the care and supervision the children receive at the center. The Site Supervisor stated and provided the center has a plan of action in place for C1, along with a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). The Site Supervisor denies the allegations noted above.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) and Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) were provided to the Site Supervisor. The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days or a civil penalty of $100.00 may appeal.
