32 | Interviews and LPAs observation revealed the center continuously disinfected the center and continues to follow these preventative procedures. Additionally, parent interviews confirmed the center was conducting pre-screening checks and the center was excluding anyone who was positive or had active symptoms. All parents reported their children had to test negative prior to returning to the CCC.
LPA was unable to corroborate the second allegation of Staff accept children with signs of illness into care. Interview with Director and teaching staff revealed no children with active symptoms were allowed to stay at the CCC. Teaching staff reported that if children developed symptoms during the day, this information was reported to the Director/Administration right away and parent would be called immediately to pick up their child. Additionally, parent interviews revealed that if their children tested positive or had active symptoms, children were asked to stay home until all symptoms cleared or a negative COVID-19 test was provided. Parent reported witnessing the center was clean and the teaching staff were constantly disinfecting and cleaning to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Lastly, parent reported being satisfied with how the CCC handled the COVID-19 outbreak. Parents reported that the center did everything possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Interviews, document reviews as well as LPAs' observations did not corroborate the allegations noted above.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) and Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) were provided to Director, Vanni Rattanatray. The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days or a civil penalty of $100.00 may appeal. |
