25 | On 08/09/2024 a Case Management Inspection was conducted by LPA German Negrete who met with the Licensee Francisca Barron, LPA advised the purpose of today's inspection was to review the incident which was reported to the Department on 7/12/2024. LPA observed Licensee and her assistant providing care to 8 children and 1 infant. LPA requested a tour of the home. Licensee escorted LPA through the home inside and outside.
In todays interview Licensee stated how on the day of the incident Licensee departed from the Familiy child care home(FCCH) with children in care to pick up her own children from summer camp. Licensee arrived at her FCCH with 5 day care children and 3 of her own children . Upon arrival parents began picking up children. Child #1 was left unattended in the vehicle for approximately 5 minutes. One parent arrived and then another arrived when the other left. Licensee stated the front door of the FCCH was open because parents were picking up.
During the visit, LPA interviewed Licensee. LPA was informed by the Licensee how there has only been one incident where a child was left in a vehicle by the licensee when arriving to the Family Child Care home.
LPA also interviewed Licensees assistant . LPA also conducted a file review.
LPA requested and received a copy of the FCCH children's roster, documents pertaining to LIC624-incident report, Due to insufficient information available at the time of this inspection, the investigation will be on going.
Exit Interviewed conducted with Licensee. A notice of site visit was provided.
