32 | The licensee submitted an application on March 04, 2025, to include an additional day care area in the home. The additional space is the backyard area with covered patio. The licensee informed the LPA that per Early Child Development the backyard is required to be in the program. The backyard will be used as a designated day care area for all the children registered to the FCCH.
· The backyard is fully enclosed with wood and brick fencing. LPA observed the footing to consist of brick and astro turf.
· Age-appropriate toys were not observed and licensee states once approved she will facilitate the needs for children.
· LPA observed a large glass table under the patio. The licensee stated the glass table will be removed by the end of business day March 5, 2025. A photo will be sent to LPA Mendez as confirmation by text or email. Business card was provided.
· LPA observed a shed in the backyard which was locked and inaccessible. The licensee opened the shed and it was found to be storage for yard tools and BBQ equipment.
· LPA notes that the west side of the backyard area is inaccessible by means of a metal fence. Inaccessible area is where the three (3) family pets reside. LPA reminds the licensee to check outside prior to allowing children access.
· Additionally, the LPA reminded the licensee the importance maintaining constant supervision of children in care.
Licensee is current with the required training.
· Pediatric CPR and First Aid expires on 6/16/2026.
· Mandated reporter training expires on 1/03/2026.
As of this date, March 4, 2025, the following areas will now be accessible to day care children: Living Room, Dining area, Kitchen, hall bathroom, and fenced Backyard.
The off-limit areas are; three (3) bedrooms, one (1) bathroom, laundry room, and garage.
During the exit interview, the LICENSEE, Patricia Iriarte confirmed that there are no Registered Sex
