Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kate Huang conducted an unannounced complaint visit to deliver investigation findings regarding the above allegation. LPA met with director, Strange, Brittany and explained the purpose of the visit.

It was alleged that one staff member pushed a child (C1) while in care.

During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted facility inspections on 01/28/2026 and 02/12/2026; interviewed staff members, the director, parents, and children; and reviewed records, including San Jose Police Department (SJPD) report, Daily Staff Records, teachers’ timecards, the children’s roster, child attendance records and video records.

Based on interviews and evidence gathered, it is concluded that, while the allegation listed above may have occurred or may be valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur. The allegations are therefore UNSUBSTANTIATED.
