25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Pete Hernandez conducted an unannounced Required 1 Year annual inspection at the home today. LPA met with Johanna Anaya-Bueno Licensee, and her husband Darin Bueno, and explained the nature of today's visit to her. Licensee is the home owner and resides there with her husband and adult daughter Allysa Bueno in the home. Hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Off limit areas area; three bedrooms, kitchen, basement, and dog run.
They have a dog which stays away from children during day care hours in the dog Run. LPA didn't observed any bodies of water. Licensee understands that all pools, spas, hot tubs, fish ponds, or similar bodies of water shall be covered or fenced as specified in title 22 regulations to be inaccessible to children. Licensee acknowledged that children may never enter these off-limit areas. Fire drills are conducted every six months and logged: the last drill was conducted on 7/9/2022. The Licensee has a working telephone in the home. LPA observed sufficient materials, toys, and play equipment for the day care children. The home is orderly, and safe for the day care children.
LPA observed 1 fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher. There are working smoke & carbon monoxide detectors in the home. The Licensee states that she does not have any weapons in the home. All detergents, cleaning compounds, other similar items and poisons are in the garage and are inaccessible to children.
LPA reviewed the files of 4 enrolled children, and Licensee and helper; all the files have all of the required documentation and immunizations.
