Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji arrived to the facility unannounced to conclude investigation into the above allegeation. LPA met with Director, Lily Talamantes. Also present were 6 additional staff members and 50 preschool aged children.

During the course of the investigation LPA made observations, conducted record reviews and interviews. It is unclear if the facility allowed children to remain at school with obvious signs of illness. Based on interviews conducted, the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Appeal Rights were given and discussed. An exit interview was conducted with Director, Lily Talamantes.

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji arrived to the facility unannounced to conclude investigation into the above allegeation. LPA met with Director, Lily Talamantes. Also present were 6 additional staff members and 50 preschool aged children.

LPA conducted interviews, made observations and conducted records review. LPA received conflicting information during interviews regarding the cleanliness of the equipment and toys within the classrooms. Observations made did not show obvious signs of toys and equipment being inadequately cleaned. However based on interviews, and observations conducted, the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
