25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Marilou Monico, conducted a Case Management Inspection in response to Licensee's request to add classrooms to their existing license. LPA met with Site Director, Wendy Ramirez, and explained to her the nature of the inspection. LPA toured the facility both indoor and outdoor areas as well as measured the space available for the children. The facility has active waivers to share bathrooms and playground with the elementary school. The facility also requested to change the name of the facility from Los Gatos Christian School & Preschool to Venture Christian Academy Preschool.
The following measurements were taken by LPA Monico during today's inspection:
Room 101: 35.67 x 26.50 = 945.25 minus 176.72 (encumbered space) = 768.53
Room 102: 35.67 x 26.50 = 945.25 minus 147.66 (encumbered space) = 797.59
Room 221: 31.83 x 26.58 = 846.04 minus 129.79 (encumbered space) = 716.25
Room 222: 35.58 x 26.42 = 940.02 minus 129.67 (encumbered space) = 810.35
Room 227: 53.67 x 26.42 = 1,417.96 minus 227.26 (encumbered space) = 1,190.70
Room 228: 51.50 x 26.75 = 1,377.62 minus 266.02 (encumbered space) = 1,111.60
TOTAL PRESCHOOL INDOOR SPACE: 5,395.02 divided by 35 sq. ft. = 154 children
