On 08/22/2024 at 10:00am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jialing “Julianne” Zhu and Christina Uribe met with owner, Chuck Bernstein, for an unannounced annual inspection. Present during the inspection were owner, four (4) fingerprint-cleared staff, and seven (7) infants in care. The facility is within ratio today. The facility was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection. The facility’s current hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 6:00pm. The facility shares a campus with a preschool component (434408915). The facility has an indoor and outdoor space for infants that is physically separate from space used by the preschool component.

Chuck Bernstein left the facility around 12:45pm, and the remainder of the inspection was completed with Head Teacher, Persephone "Persie" Boyer.

During the tour, LPA Zhu observed the infant component operates in one classroom: Room 1. Observations were made in the infant classroom. LPAs reviewed children's files, staff files, and children's medication. LPAs also reviewed documents for Safe Sleep practices and Infant Needs & Services Plans. Staff interviews were conducted. The required licensing postings were reviewed, which included the snack menus.

Due to time constraints, LPAs were unable to conclude today's annual inspection. LPAs will return to do a continuation inspection on a later date.

A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted, and report was reviewed with the Head Teacher, Persie Boyer.
