32 | Facility has a current waiver for Outdoor Playground. LPA reviewed the Facility's LIC 9040, LIC 500. The menu is observed to be posted. Trash cans for solid waste require tight-fitting covers on and should be in good repair. All food preparation and storage areas are kept clean and free of litter and rubbish; and measures were taken to keep all such areas free of rodents and other vermin. The facility Fire Permit expires on 12/31/2026. Facility conducted and documented Fire and Earthquake Disaster Drills on March 20, 2026.
Facility files were reviewed. Children sign in and out procedures, and logs were reviewed. The facility is currently using an electronic sign-in and out system called "Brightwheel" LPA reviewed the system's operation/logging with the Director. A sampling of Children's files was taken for review. The records reviewed include Admission Agreement, Identification and Emergency Information, Medical Assessment, Immunization and Consent for Emergency Medical Treatment.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. The facility does not provide transportation for children at the moment and the Director understands that children cannot be left alone, unattended in park vehicles.
LPA reviewed Staff Files / Records, and the reviewed records include Staff Qualifications, Immunization, Health Screening Report, CPR and 1st Aid Training Certificates and Mandated Reporter Training Certificates.
The Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
